Acceptance of Agreement
By accessing or using sri-lanka.me, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.
1. Creator & Guide Accounts
- Creators, tour guides, and storytellers must register accurate profile information.
- New creator accounts require Super Admin approval prior to publishing blogs or tour packages.
- Creators are responsible for keeping account passwords and SMTP credentials secure.
2. Tour Packages & Publishing Guidelines
All published tour itineraries and travel articles must conform to community standards:
- Accuracy: Package pricing, itinerary days, inclusions, and exclusions must be truthful.
- Originality & Intellectual Property: Creators must own or have rights to uploaded images and content text. Copying copyrighted text without permission is prohibited.
- Safety Standards: All activities must comply with Sri Lankan tourist board regulations and wildlife conservation guidelines.
3. Platform Disclaimer & Tour Contracts
sri-lanka.me operates as a technology platform connecting travelers with local Sri Lankan guides and creators. We do not operate tours directly. Actual agreements, itineraries, payments, and tour execution occur directly between the traveler and the host creator.
4. Prohibited Conduct
- Submitting false booking inquiries or spamming creators with fake contact details.
- Automated scraping, reverse engineering, or probing of platform security systems.
- Publishing deceptive, harmful, or illegal travel offers.
5. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising out of platform usage will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
