- SMTP & Gmail App Password Credentials: Optional 16-character App Passwords or SMTP credentials voluntarily configured by creators in Settings to dispatch direct booking notifications.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and standard web access log data.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is strictly used for operational purposes:
- Facilitating direct communications between travelers and certified Ceylon tour hosts.
- Dispatching instant automated booking notifications and confirmation receipts.
- Verifying creator accounts and managing plan subscriptions.
- Improving platform navigation, security, and preventing spam or fraudulent activities.
3. Gmail App Password & Email Security
If a creator configures a Gmail App Password or custom SMTP server, credentials are used exclusively to authenticate outbound booking emails sent from their address to customers and themselves. We store these credentials securely and do not read, process, or access your personal email inbox.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We share traveler inquiry details only with the specific tour creator or guide associated with the booked package. We use reliable third-party infrastructure (such as secure cloud hosting and analytics) that strictly comply with confidentiality and data protection standards.
5. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential session cookies to keep users authenticated and maintain secure state during booking inquiry submissions. Google Analytics is utilized to understand website traffic patterns without collecting personally identifiable information.
